Transforming Lives through Nutrition
Since 2000, Jan Chetna Jagriti Avom Shaikshanik Vikas Manch has made an indelible mark on communities by serving over 4 lakh children and 1.6 lakh women through its Mid-Day Meal and ICDS Supplementary Nutrition programs. With operations spanning Delhi, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh, our initiatives have led to improved school attendance, reduced malnutrition rates, and empowered women with health education and sustainable community practices.
Empowering Women Through Community Kitchens
In marginalized rural areas, we trained over 5,000 women to operate and manage community kitchens, giving them not only a livelihood but also a leadership role within their villages. These kitchens now provide nutrition and dignity to thousands every day.
Rebuilding Trust During Crises
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jan Chetna Jagriti Avom Shaikshanik Vikas Manch continued its commitment by distributing over 2 lakh meals and hygiene kits to struggling families. Our volunteers worked relentlessly across containment zones, building trust and providing timely relief.
